JPSD students love to perform on stage at Eisteddfods. There are just too many wonderful photos of JPSD dancers to display so we show you our current photos and the rest are found on our studio walls or archived.

What an amazing and thrilling time our students had at this Eisteddfod. Dance students travelled from West Gippsland, Gippsland and South Gippsland to perform, so our dancers’ results are truly fantastic. This is a wonderful testimony to Eisteddfod teachers Shaun Carr and Jan Pianta. Iris Miller received the Bolger Family Outstanding Award for her contemporary solo choreographed by Jan Pianta and the Melbourne based adjudicator said ‘ I have been waiting this whole Eisteddfod to see a solo such as this and I would pay money to see it again’.
2023 Chloe Moulton received medals at the semi final of Australian Classical Grand Prix in Kew.
Chloe then travelled to Sydney to perform a classical ballet and contemporary solo at the finals.

In April of 2022, Charli McInnes entered the Australian Teachers of Dance International Dance Competition held Bangkok Thailand. Her section entered was Test 3 Jazz Exam Dance. Out of 33 competitors in this section, Charli won receiving a Gold Medal. Local Parliamentary Tim Bull presented Charli with the medal and formal certificate.

BRAVO Charli! Her story was told on WinNews on Wednesday 1 June 2022
